Great night of racing!  good close competition in all classes. Just proves that we have the best program here at Delaware. Good to see the LMs #77, #78 back in action.  Two excellent cars and drivers that I wish were running full time.  Nice to see a new car in Terry Jaques.  I wish we could just get through a week without controversy, but it happens.  I feel real bad for Scott Lindsay. Whether who was right or who was wrong, only the drivers know and maybe nobody did anything wrong, just a racing incident. What I heard from Scott Lindsay, was all he asked for was a "break",  little room. I'm sure Steve Robblee had his nose in there and felt he had the line.  Again, who knows, none of us were in the middle of turn 3 when it happened. As far as the black flag, I think that is common, #28 was part of the accident. All tracks do that.  Just a very unfortunate situation,  a point contender, who is probably now done for the season and a top runner who gets black flagged and parks the car.  Funny what we all remember of the night. I personally thought the racing on Friday night was probably the best and closest I have seen all summer, in all of the classes. The only thing I hated to see,  there are only 2 weekends left.

I had to laugh at the writeup on Delawarespeedway.com. Apparently Verhoeven has never won a feature at Delaware.  ;D

Yah it was the way she did the lead in. You don't bury the title story in the middle of the body of the article. I was somewhat annoyed with the story but screw it. She might want to consider really not posting this stories so hastily. The information is getting more informative though.
Any way we fricking won finally so BOOYAH

The #7 ss team want to thank all those teams that offered help and opinions on our horse power gremlin that we have had for the last month .but we finally got rid of him after replacing almost everything on the car I found him in the fuel cell and unfortunately I think I created him by packing to much safety foam in the cell and restricting fuel flow .It seams however we have not gotten rid of the bad luck gremlin as we had a great run going last night only to be spun into the pit lane wall by a driver that seems to drive by the nose of his car destoying the rear of  our car .I think if you are going to switch back and fourth between divisions you need to take a lesson from Fothergill and realize that you dont drive the same in both these divisions fothergill is a good racer that respects the differances of each and races clean while other are a menace to our division and should stay within the trucks.

so what your saying is that nobody is supposed to advance any divisions because you don't want them to? what your refering to wasn't the other drivers fault he just got hit from behind as he slowed for you. but on the same note a good driver always has control of there race car.

I just went back and re-read it. My bad...I thought she was saying Verhoeven had never won at Delaware before.

Think I'm gonna pop another percocet and go to bed now.  😀
