Howdy all. Good nights racing tonight with the Mods, SS amd Trucks. Life getting in the way again, so I'm giving ya the short version tonight. Huge congrats to Kris Lawrence bringing the 28 car to (I'm pretty sure) his 1st heat win. Big congrats likewise to the Perkins team on their win.

Rumor has it though that there was some tech trickery in the works with the 3 car...the jury's still out, but rumor has it that crew chief Don discovered some interesting chemical properties in a can of your standard canned nacho sauce. I don't know if its true or not, but I did see an odd orange substance dripping out of the carb in tech. When asked about it, crew chief Don just said, "it aint nothing...just shut up and eat your nachos."

I think he's up to something.

Challenger Trucks

Heat 1
1st to 75-Depius, 2nd to 00-Johns, 3rd to 01-Bloemendal

Heat 2
1st to 9-Fothergill, 2nd to 82-Demelo, 3rd to 33-Rijnen

Feature The real battle here was for 3rd. Good 3 way war between Fothergill, Johns and Rijnen. Lots of contact but basically clean.
1st to Bloemendal, 2nd to Depius, 3rd to Johns, 4th to Fothergill, 5th to Rijnen

Peterbilt Super Stocks

Heat 1
1st to 62-Wright, 2nd to 66 Johns, 3rd to 24 Richmond

Heat 2
1st to Cowboy Kris Lawrence! (1st ever heat win!) 2nd to 3-Perkins, 3rd to 9-Dejesus

Feature

Good battle at the front with Perkins in the lead with 98-Morneau bearing down. Mornneau goes high, goes low, but cant get around the 3. Victory donut ensues...which is always more impressive when you spent the closing laps with a tire going down!
1st to Perkins! (amazing what fixing a bent ball joint can do for your handling.)  2nd to Morneau, 3rd to 52-Clark, 4th to 11-Lidster, 5th to 77-Lake and 6th to Richmond.

Powerade Mods

Heat 1
1st to 44-McLuskey, 2nd to 70-Saunders, 3rd to ??  (for some reason I had mcCullough down for both heats..so not sure who came 3rd here)

Heat 2
1st to 88-Shipway, 2nd to 20-Watson, 3rd to 39 McCullough

Feature
Ultimately it came down to a good bumper to bumper 3 way battle between Cox, Shipway and Watson.
1st to Watson, 2nd to Cox, 3rd to Shipway, distant 4th to McCullough, and 5th to McLuskey
