Book saying he didn't have much competition is crap.
The 82 almost lapped him and started to struggle with brake problems and had to slow up alittle.
The 7 car was leading when he wrecked and was very fast.
And at the end of the day the 82 was on the same lap.
I respect Book as a driver but what a bunch of crap that comment was I always thought Steve Book had a lot of class. Maybe I was wrong
if someone feels they have no competition then it's time to step up to the next division....
UNDERTAKER AND BLUE THUNDER WILL NEVER RIP!!! WE WILL MAKE CHAOS HISTORY
WE WILL BE STRONGER THEN EVER THE NEXT TIME WE HIT THE TRACK SO WATCH OUT FOR THE THUNDERTAKER R.I.P TO ALL THE REST
I'm with Spindoctor, if you're bored, try your luck in SuperStock or Trucks. If you're truly doing it on ability and not what you are spending, try doing it against guys who work on their racers as much or more than you do and see what happens. Hey, you just might like it....then again.......!
50 cars sounds like a full track....anyone know what's the record for the most enduros in a race?
I was in one in 1982 (The Wonderland Mall 200) which had 182 cars start. I also ran Varney and Flamboro against a lot less cars, but those tracks were far more crowded.
