With the amount of smoke from the rears just before it broke loose, I'd say the rear locked.

The left rear torque tube broke...it is the left rear tire that leaves the car before the car spins out.

No one is disagreeing, ??? just educated guesses. It was pretty obvious that something in the rear of the car either broke or a tire went down. Ryan's a great driver and Sprinters don't just swap ends that quick for the hell of it.
