While I am known for my longer statements on these boards, I’ll keep this one short:

I am sorry I haven’t / won’t be able to respond with greater details, but rumor mill: slow yourself down.  This can be especially difficult in the age of instant communication and instant information.  I cannot guarantee when you will have the detailed information you are looking for but sit tight, things are fine.

Are you still an employee, and if all is so well why don't we hear anything?

In any business there are many reasons why you would not hear anything.  In motorsports, we seem to jump to the idea of a catastrophe quite quickly.  I encourage the community to avoid this temptation.

Do ya really think he'd be posting like this if he wasn't?

This whole thing is like the Kevin/Amy debacle about 5 years ago. The sky was supposed to fall then too. Surprise. It didn't.

I have no earthly idea why you wouldn't just carry on business as usual until you hear otherwise. If it was me I'd maybe hold off IF I was building a brand new car....but how many guys are really doing that?

And if you're taking rumor and hearsay, and then taking it and TELLING your sponsors that there might be potential issues at the speedway before anything's even been announced...welll, you dug that hole yourself.

Sorry to be blunt. But this thread is messed up.

thanks John for the words of calm. I am sure when all the details are ironed out, the masses will hear.  It's not unlike any other business dealings.  The thread did get a little carried away, I agree, but it's because Delaware has very passionate fans and drivers.  The thought of any changes at the track scares us all.  We never ever want to see it go away.
