That really sucks to hear...
And then the Track has the ignorance to use a picture of the wreck as the Home Page title. REAL NICE GUYS.
Wrecks do occur in racing and it DOES bring fans to the tracks. Once those fans are in the seats, its up to the drivers to show them what REAL racing is all about.
It's not ignorance... It's marketing. Apparently this one was the most exciting photo of the week.
I don't think they figured it was a season-ending wreck when they did the background shot...
This has ended my season due to the damage received on the 88 truck, the frame is bent on the front as well as the rear. I am not about to go through what my cousin had to a few weeks back only to come out and get wrecked by the same endurance style driver again. I have no real problem with Steve Lovie but I do have a problem with the way he tries to push his way to the front by going three wide on lap #1 !!!!
We are also waiting to hear if giving headers to only crate engine rule in the truck class Will be amended before we will decide what to do for next year.

You might want to give Dave Silverthorn a call. We ran into (no pun intended) the exact same situation a few weeks back - wrecked by someone with an enduro attitude, we ended up needing straightening front and rear. While not perfect (we still need a front clip) he got things to the point that the car is raceable for a very reasonable cost.

I understand that, however if cars/trucks are getting wrecked and the only thing that benefits from that
is the tracks income, Maybe weekly payouts should be increased. Last Friday I'm sure they made
a lot of money due to the large crowd so they should in turn return that money to the people
putting on the show. (Never mind the King of the Hill)
