OK, maybe I'm just being dense here and have missed something, but I'm not quite grasping what the format is for next week.

So they buy their tickets in the weeks leading up to the race, they draw six names and if thier name comes out of the hat, then they get to participate.

So far so good.

On the press release it says "The event itself is a two-lap sprint around the speedway from a standing start on the front stretch. Along with bragging rights, the winner of the sprint will receive 50% of the funds generated through the entry draw process, with the other 50% going to charity."

Later it says if you're not a draw winner, then you can pay 20 dollars and enter your car or minivan.

Now, I'm assuming this is like a King of the Hill thing, where they're going one on one till there's a winner, (except races are 2 laps instead of one?) but the press release makes it sound like all 6 draw winners plus any other entries will all be on the track at the same time for a 2 lap race.

Can we clear this up?

Or just call me an idiot for not gettin' it.

🙂
