A listing on the GRR site said their is a possible series for Thunder Cars next year with a possible sponsor being Lowes Canada. The site says the possible tracks if it is a go would be Sauble,Flamboro,Sunset,Varney, & Cayuga.Unfortunally Delaware
is not on the list because their Sport Stocks (Street Stocks ) are
completely different to the Thunder Car.I think Delaware should think hard on this subject to change their cars to spec of a Thunder Car.It could be costly to each race team to do this but if they donot they ( Delaware Drivers ) could be missing out on something big for this type of car.Drivers that used to race at Delaware in the old Street Stock days that run Thunder Car now at Flamboro this year are Brad Collison & Dave Silverthorne Jr & Sr( Sr raced thunder car Last year ) Unfortunally as of now Delaware cars are all by them selves as for rules as other Tracks
seem to be on the same track.I hate to say but if Delaware does not think about this (Possible change) they could be left out to dry as some Delaware drivers might change their cars on their own and drive in this series like what Collison & Silverthornes did. as you no they left Delaware not to return (Silverthone did once last year ).Hopefully Delaware thinks hard about this over the winter or I hate to say you may have a shortage of cars (Street Stocks ) if this series goes off.Would it not be great to see a series like this (Thunder Cars ) come to Delaware. This I think would draw crowds because this is real Grass Roots Racing (GRR)

I doubt anyone is worried about switching over to a spec for a series that is still in the "just talking about it" phase, especially if it toning down the equipment.

So...this is the second time now...won't GRR online let you sign up or what?

for the most part delaware street stock teams don't travel. some of the guys would go to cayuga on special occasions but that was it. i don't think you'll see any guys crying because they can't get in on that.

Shadowracer I have never tried to get on GRR any problem with that Thought other race fans should no what is going on in the racing business. I do not see nothing wrong with that .I have a problem with GRR says you have to sign up to  give an opinion.Canadianracingonline is a good site as a fan of racing you can give a reply to anything as long as it is not vulger or offends the person who started the article.Myself all I was doing is giving my opinion on the POSSIBLE THUNDER CAR SERIES and I donot think anything is wrong with that.Everything that was said came off the GRR site ( Flamboro ).People with the GRR site open it up to everybody so as I said every interested race fan can hear what is going on not Just Flamboro or Delaware
