I am in need of some specialty metals. I am working on a side project in clean energy, and require brass sheet metal. 16 to 28 gauge is acceptable, and copper may work as well. I have been looking for this for a while, and have found the prices insane. While I cannot go into details as to what I am building (patents), I do however need these precious metals. If anyone knows of a supplier in these two items, please let me know. I was looking at oldschool bronze roofing materials, but even they are hard to find. So if any of our stout fabricators have leads, please inform the nooby on this area. Thanks so much for any info.

How many sheets do you need?  Most bigger metal companies require minimum orders.  You should try Russell Metals or EMJ (Earle M. Jorgensen Company) but not sure if they have a London location.  EMJ typically has really good prices on chromoly and DOM steel.  If your looking for limited quantity your best bet might be Metal Supermarket or contact a local company that uses brass or copper and try and buy  cut-offs or whole sheet from them.  Good luck

Depending on the size needed you can get brass shim stock in any thickness. Only comes 6" wide x 4 foot rolls. Kbc tools sells it
