Jay and Jean, The participants of the division voted in favour for the "Play it as it lies" rule back in the winter. It is a throwback to the glory days of Enduro, and it does help keep the costs and speeds down. That's one of the reasons why Enduro cars have become out of control racecars. They didn't fear leaving their $10,000 machines on the track because they knew it would be towed off.

I am all for leaving cars on the track. It's exciting as hell and deters guys from sinking a whole bunch of money into their cars.

See you on the track July 5th!

Snotty has it right, If you have built a cheater money pit... you will cry in this class. IT WILL GET destroyed, one way or another. Cheaters in this class are easily routed out, and found. I don't mind if a guy finds a 'bend' here and there, but full out blatant cheats should be penalised hardcore.

No thats cool, whatever the masses want for sure. Thinking about buying the Thames one I drove. Maybe the kid or some of the crew can have some fun.

Im pretty sure these are built basically Chump Car legal as well. Can look into that to confirm, but if thats the case, its another selling point on the class.

I understand totally the reason for leaving the cars on the track ,it's just painful to see them in pieces.(by the way neither of the backstretch cars were mine)To my knowledge no one has been caught cheating so it seems to be fair so far.I've heard it many times last year and already this year that we are cheaters cause our car is to fast,we must have done work on the motor ...not true. It's a stock 4 banger 2.2.I'm all for keeping these cars cheap  and fair.Yes Snotrod and Dougy you are both right that if you sink a lot  of money into your car it won't, be worth it when its a pile of scrap metal,so pick your poison carefully.Buy no way am I complaining or bitching, just some of my thoughts.I really wish the bonestocks were a full weekly series, can't get enough of these cars bombing around.Let's hope this class helps bring out new fans and is around for years to come.

not sure bout weekly Bone stock events, but Friday night every now and then could work. Would the bone stock teams get impatient / grumpy waiting till the last event of the night to run tho? If not, why not? More back gate $$$ and more butts up top to support their fav Bone stock drivers....
