❓ So what do you think,,,,is that new coating going to help or even last? Maybe the heavy trucks will tear it up. Let's hope the cones aren't out for practice,,,,everyone needs to feel how the new surface reacts.

Just Wondering

I think your wrong. There's no way the track would do something that drastic without input from the racers. They've said that numeros times. The teams have been working with the track to get through the season and do their best to make changes to the cars so there is side by side racing. Any changes to the surface with ONE race to go would fly in the faces of the teams. All the money and labour spent by the teams to adjust to the track would have been wasted if changes were made to the surface with ONE race left. Their patience with the state of things would go unrewarded. It would never happen, not with the race director and teams working together to finish the season on an upbeat note, with a positive attitude and a goal to have fun.

I could be wrong though.

This is "news" to me. Can anyone confirm? I guess we'll all find out tonight but that's one long friday of work away...Cascarjr52?

I'll reserve comment until then. Quite the bombshell you just dropped, JustWondering.

Well kept secret if it's true. No Jr racing Wed. would make it the perfect time.

If true, it will be interesting to see how it works. Maybe the people trying to make it work on he top will get the greatest benefit. It was one of the sugestions put forward by people on this forum. I can't wait to see how 30 + late models will race on a new surface. Hate to say it but I hope it drains well.

I'll stick my head out the window and see if I can hear anyone testing it out.

If it's not true, well , thanks for the entertainment.

See you at the races!!
