Maybe someone can explain this to me. The top guy has started 46 races and Ron Sheridan started 18 races. and all his races he has finished in the top 10. How is that fair if some track puts on 46 races in a season? it snows in Waterford CT how are they getting in 46 races?

I would think they would have some sort of handycapp system would be in place?

Keith Rocco runs MANY speedways. Waterford is his 'home track'. He's had the championship locked up for a few weeks now.

Not too sure on this but I believe Gord Shepard at the start of the season could accumilate points at both Delaware and Barrie. The Delaware car counts would have helped him but car counts at Barrie would have been very little but make up something towards final tally if he was close. I think it would be next to impossible to win at one track given the amout of dates available.

Coles notes for the point system. Points depend on car count and finishing order. Best 18 races up til Sept 19th count toward the championship. Rocket Ronnie will likely win the Ontario Championship (although others are still fighting so he won't) and be eligible to go to Charlotte and then the Toyota showdown.
