if your going to start a thread knocking the cost to run at Delaware because of Nascar you need to give us some comparative costs at other tracks or it's a useless thread

I didn't start the thread, and the guys that have been racing at Delaware for a few years have seen the costs skyrocket, the first time the Nascar donkey crap went through you didn't have to pay extra just to keep you're number on top of the Nascar fees, which seemed pretty reasonable.

Really for the money you don't get much. The membership is only good for other weekly series races not even any good for NCATS events I mean really. At least at other tracks the money doesn't go directly to daytona beach never to be seen again. I doubt you would lose the summer showdown since the track hires the drivers completely separate and NCATS needs the dates so the only date affected would be the whelen date and nascar really wants to be able to claim that they run in two countries so as long as delaware pays they would still come.  Mean really nascar cashes cheques more than they sign them as a practice and they sure don't want to send it up here to the land of tim hortons, polar bears and bob n doug
