What is the downside of being a Nascar sanctioned track? There is an upfront cost but that gets paid back with the reduced cost the enter the pits. You have to put stickers on the vehicle but get contingency money for it. Nascar is the biggest thing in circle track racing so why wouldn't you want to be part of that.
It's a retarded amount of money to register with no real benefit, that's why. We used to register with the track for far cheaper and then we'd get our back gate discount, the fees anymore are insane.
