Really? most tracks don't give a year end payout to everybody, top ten mostly. I was pleased with what we recieved by way of the payouts. We had a short year and still got enough for a set of tires. So my question is how is that a bad thing?

I would say that it will not be Nascar For the fact that Delaware is only running 11 or 12 races Unless Delaware has double features?  How can Delaware guys compete against the other tracks?

Delaware always paid down the standings really well without drivers having to send a pile of wasted money down to Daytona beach. Since Nascar is all you've known at Delaware I get it Jim, but the Nascar really does suck, pretty bad, fees use to be a lot lower, and it was ALL staying in Delaware.

Not to beat a dead horse but I can only use my knowledge of other tracks and use them as a barometer. Fees were always higher and payout was allot lower. Gate fees were higher and again nightly payouts were lower.
I appreciate the fact that the track wants to keep money, who likes to see money going to someone else? Are the benefits being over looked? Just a thought. I have made some observations walking around the track and I can see places that cost savings might be had.
I sincerely hope growth and sustainability are achieveable with this new management team. Delaware is the premier track in Ontario and it's success or lack of will definately have an impact on the sport

Just a thought but the track has been around a long time before it was ever "Nascar" sanctioned.
Lets just relax a season and let the new ownership adjust to things so it's a win-win situation for everyone.
