Are they kidding, a day's notice?  Not gonna get many people showing up to this...

All registered drivers were notified by direct mail as part of their banquet invitations, which would have been sent about a month ago.  The meeting was also announced again at the banquet itself.

That being said, admittedly, the website announcement (which was not posted until Thursday morning) was delayed - - which, was my fault.

The purpose of this meeting is to review parts of the previous season, and discuss ideas from race teams to ensure they have the opportunity to share their ideas as we head into the next season.

I went. It was more or less a "State of the Union" address as well as the meeting gave teams a chance to voice their opinions or concerns directly to track management.

To sum things up, the Speedway is 100% moving forward into the future with a full 2013 schedule already in the works. As far as changes go, most will be divulged at Rules Meetings for each class in the new year.

Personally, I can't wait to get back at it again. Just gotta find a new ride 🙂
