McColl Racing will sponsor the Lucas Oil Sportsman Cup race at Delaware Speedway September 5th. The race will be called the "McColl Racing 100", and should kick off an awesome lineup of racing for the rest of the Great Canadian Weekend. Looking forward to a huge car count for Delaware as it is a highly anticipated stop on the LOSC schedule.
Defintiely looking forward to that. Heck, just to see Patrick, Algire and McGlynn tooling around the speedway again will make it seem like old times.
And those guys have all been putting on excellent shows this year.
I would expect close to 25 cars to show up for this event, alot of guys who run part-time will be coming as well. The highest car count this year was at Flamboro with 21 cars so they will put on a show.. After the wreckfest at Sauble I can't wait to go to Delaware!!!!!
I dont know if I will be running at Delaware. I blew a motor at Sauble. Turn 3 of the last lap. Finished 11th, though. Blown motor, and flat left front tire going across the finish line in the grass. I know Mark Patrick will be there, so if im not driving their 2nd car, I will crew for Mark, and run the truck only. Sauble was still fun even though it was a smash up derby at high speed!
I take it you are Derek Clark?? Ya I saw that, I was standing in turn 4 and watched it happen... alot of smoke but I wasn't sure if you blew a motor or what thanks for clearing that up..
