Looking for work

That's right, I'm looking for work. I have been looking around London for a good job, and there's little. I am a licensed mechanic, with Drive Clean Test and Repair. I did however let my propane NG ticket go. I am ready to write 310T (truck), but will admit most of that experience is limited. Anyone who's written those knows they are just the basics. What I am good at, is fabricating snd engine diagnostics. I am extremely skilled with electrical, and electronics. I worked with Pat Harford at JPH conversions for 6 years. We built everything from lowriders to monster trucks. I can weld/fabricate just about anything. I am an excellent exhaust builder, fully skilled with a bender. There is very little I haven't built. If you wish to verify my builds, I have a list of phone numbers and vehicles you can either look at, or call the owners. When JPH closed (cancer in Pat Sr.) I was crushed. I haven't found a good job since, that makes me feel like family. If anyone knows of a company, or family run business that's great.... I am hopefully your guy.

I have experience in diesel, and farm equipment as well. I guess I am now looking for a yeti sort of, but hopefully I can find something like that again. Currently, I am working on side projects to keep busy and make my wife happy. But that sadly only goes so far, and EI pays cheaply. Thanks for reading, and hopefully I find something soon.

P.S I am willing to travel for the right job 🙂

How much diesel experience do you have? I manage a trucking co with 5 divisions of transportation including buses, para transit, vans etc. both gas and diesel (Mostly diesel) I think the garage may be hiring. PM me and I will look into it.

I know all the  F150-650s very well, Gm 1500-3500 pickups and Dodges heavy line as well. I know all the hydro boost brake systems, the only trucks we didn't do were air brakes often. My tools are aimed at automotive, and electrical diagnostics. So I don't have the larger stuff, as the shop I was at (the owner) just let me use his. I beat the book time on most jobs, and take my pride in my work. I highly dislike mis-diagnosing anything, it keeps me up at night.

We did a lot of hydraulic, farm, and implement repair as well. I am not afraid to work on anything, or give anything a try. We did a ton of fleet work, for construction companies, and they will bring anything in the door. Weed wackers, to front end loaders. If there was a night course offered at Fanshawe, Carquest, Snap-on, I took it. Very versatile with Snap-on Modis (oscilloscope usage) , OTC genysis, Verus, GM Tech II scanners.

I can write my 310T at any time, I just feel I would not be fully suited to say I am as experienced in it as automotive. I have done the auto/light truck deal way longer, and know I'm stronger in it. I would rather not give expectations to something I cannot perform to.
