long drive but worth it usually,  no different than Peterborough..just down the road...and most of you guys are in the London are already..we have to drive an extra hour...Kirk is either going to Kawartha  or  Brighton

I've never been to Kawartha....what's it like to go watch a race?

Steel moveable stands each end, with enclosed stands on start finish line, closed circuit TV inside of racing viewed inside main grandstand with slots casino attached and bar and  food bars. Many will tell you it is best track and set up around. The track itself is inside the horse track. Air photo on the Kawartha site.

Would love to Kirk at the Downs again. And I'm not the only one.. Hopefully next years 100 lappers can see the ACT rules a bit more lax so the likes of Hooker, Shaw, Nagel, Elliotts etc.. can compete. I'd like regular nights to keep the ACT rules that put weight to those that don't conform. Think that if Derek could loosen up those rules for the 100 lappers in 2010 more out or towners would show up. I think the crowds would be MUCH better too. Hope to see the 38 on Friday. ;D
