I had mentioned that a round table meeting may be in order to discuss this topic farther in detail as most of the teams are not going to post their opinions on this message board and we both know why.

Meeting would be great without GBS officials. Has anyone thought of a complete Travel Series, we have at least 4-6 tracks within Southwestern Ontario. If we had each track host 4 races we could take the whole show on the road. I have heard comments from Sunset and Sauble that the JCar Series was a great show, with great racing. I am sure with the right program we could have 15+ cars and trucks to run a circuit. Look at GBS payouts none for cars and a small payout for trucks. I believe I added it up to about $620 total payout for trucks. If we could get out of town tracks to consider a better payout and bring in a couple Series Sponsors to supplement the payouts. Each track should  realize that if 15 trucks showed with an average of 3 people per truck at $15.00 entrance that would give them a gate of $675.00 just from us. Hey please don't bash the idea I am just throwing it out there for some thought. I for one am tired of some of the antics going on at GBS, we have a great thing here that people enjoy, kids just love it so what can we do to get it in front of a bigger audience. I am not sure how everyone else felt but when I read the following on our home track site I was upset to say the least:

Mini Trucks, Fox Racing Junior Late Models will now be a non-points race Due to
the whining that this rescheduling has caused, both the Mini Trucks and JLM races have been changed to a non-points race
see you in 3 weeks. Any non-registered JLM can come and race for gate price.)

This is our promoter calling us whiners we help put the food on his table and this is what he thinks of us. Go figure, we still show up and give him our $$$$.
