You can change tires during a regular yellow though and each team is allowed 6 new tires for this event. So I assume that means they will start the day on stickers which leaves you two new right sides for later.

Tires:
Six new tires will be allowed (not part of yearly inventory)
Qualifying:
Drivers receive 2 laps to qualify if they are in their spot, one lap if they are not. Starting lineup for feature race based six + 1 dice inversion (up to 12 positions) Qualifying points standard as per rulebook. Winner of qualifying receives $300
Race Format:
Race will be 100 laps straight up with a competition yellow. Caution laps do not count towards total laps. Drivers cannot go a lap down under caution. Lucky Dog (free pass) applies to the first car at least one lap down that was not involved in the caution. Competition yellow will take place between laps 40-60. Competition yellow will be 5 minutes in length. Drivers who change tires during competition yellow will forfeit track position. Drivers who are not ready to roll at the end of 5 minutes will forfeit track position. Race points standard as per rulebook.
