Perhaps someone from Delaware could come on here and provide some more information.
That won't be happening anytime soon. :-
But the show will be excellent for sure...and my offer still holds Vokey. We'll get a few invaders anyway, as I think you're right about needing to race here to get in for July 7. Flammy's LMs are the only ones really competitive with ours, and Flammy managed to book double points nights the night after most of our big events. I think I'd bank on seeing Gary Elliott and Jay Shaw anyway. Gonna be a good show regardless, as our own LM boys are more than enough entertainment. Anything else is just gravy.
Nope. I was in my usual spot. Was joined by my lady and my Mom.
Don "the Outlaw" Perkins joined us too. 😀 He was responsible for the party horns you might have heard when the SS feature did the wave-by lap.
What's up with the new tag for Don?
The 97 was listed in the races as dns so he must have cleared tech before the loaded up again? ( I am sure the racing was better with them on the trailer?)

I do know the 97 decided not to race on Friday, as I was talking with the fam up top. By the sounds of it I'm not sure if they will be back next week either. Racing is not just for the fans enjoyment like myself but also everyone involved. If you aren't having a good time as a driver or a crew member why bother right?
It was an entertaining night at Delaware overall and loved the 28 laps for Lawrence.

Out of respect for Don's position, I'm just gonna leave it at that. I was just razzing him anyway...and dont want what goes on here to reflect on anything else. There are certain parties that are a little twitchy about what gets said here, and it gets taken out on the driver/crews.
As far as Silverthorn goes, I'm not sure what the penalty for his actions was for last week, or if there even was one, but the car stayed on the trailer while the races were on. I doubt its indefinite. A week off is probably good enough to give the message though.
On another note. I want to bring attention to how good things can come out of a bad situation. Our super stock rec'd considerable damage from meeting the inside wall head-on friday night. It basically needs to be cut-off at the firewall and clipped as well as other considerable parts replaced. Within an hour of the accident we had been offered new clips, fenders, hood, suspension pcs, and manpower to help if necesary from a multitude of super stock teams as well as a couple truck teams and even the odd late model team. By saturday noon hour we had been offered three differant super stocks to use this friday if ours isn't repaired in time. The racing community we have at delaware is first class. We have been overwelmed by everyones generosity. THANK-YOU. And for those who get upset at the tech people over stuff they want changed for safty reasons, give your head a shake. They do it for us to make sure we are around after a hard crash. Thanks again to everyone and we will see you all this friday, probably in a different car, but we will be there.
