I have a question about the Delly schedule.. I see for this coming Friday the 25th they have it advertized as the MAPLE CITY TIRE 100.. Does this mean that its a 100 lapper for the Late Models??? Thinkin about making the trek from Barrie if that's indeed the case.. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Maple City Tire 100 - Twin 50's for Late Models - Time Trials at 7:15 - Racing at 8PM.

Usually when they do this format the first 50 is set by qualifying and the second 50 has an inversion set by a draw.

The Super Stocks and Modifieds are also on the card for the night. I also seem to recall the announcer on Friday Night indicated that this LM race was an invitational but I may be mistaken. Perhaps someone from Delaware could come on here and provide some more information. This may be the tracks way of getting out of town cars to come race and try the track before the Shootout on July 7th.

Thanks for the info ERNIE!!! From the format you described it sounds like a cant miss event.. Time trials, fast cars to front for 1st 50, slight inversion depending on # drawn for 2nd 50, great Super Stock division and Open Wheel Modifieds on the slate as well..I've never been to Delaware so that's where my lean is for next Friday.. Oshweken and Kawartha are also possibilities for me, but sounds like Delly has the best bang for the buck on this particular evening.. How many Mods have they been getting out?? Any idea??

14 modifieds are registered and 13 have scored points in two races. I haven't seen any modified races yet this year so maybe someone else can update you on the health of the division. I know there was talk earlier but it looks like the car count has doubled from last year anyways.
