Trev You missed a good night for old "Juice Box". He was complaining about his brakes over stopping the car so we ran over to McColls and got a new set of pads. In the heat we were breaking in new pads so Jake's running her easy and wouldn't you know we brake an axle!
Well with the help of some of the other teams including enduro guys we got it bake into shape. Jake decided to start the feature scratch "Just in Case" and see what the car could do after our cobbled up repairs. Well if he doesn't start cutting through the field! Worked his way up to fourth running the outside groove many times to pass his competitors. Last lap I beleive in turn 1 he over drove it 😮 and open the door for the train in a cloud of dust and debris. Finished 9th ::) But you know that kid was so friggin happy he about peed his pants. That was definitely a sweet Top 10 LOL ;D
Robblee broke an axle that is why he spun he was not behind in the steering.
Lidster had a mechanical problem (causing a bad miss from my perspective) that they worked on all night and couldn't fix. Looks like they cured it for the feature and it started missing again coming down pit road.
