Nobody asked you to take less, nobody asked you to personally right wrongs and nobody asked you to favor anyone or anything. You don't get it and you never will get it, so I guess I'm done here too.
Wow!
To be clear, I disagree with Pinecrest's views on women in racing and think that Delawares bonus to a woman who wins is a great idea.
I also accepted at face value Evan's statement that PC's ban had nothing to do with his views.
From Evan's latest rant, however, it seems that this is not the case. If PC was banned because of his views, if PC was banned because Evan got E-mails about PC's views, if PC was banned because Evan disagreed with his views, then that it outright wrong.
I guess this topic will end now as Pinecrest has been removed from the system again for good for another non related issue.
Oh well, I guess we will start seeing posts from Joe Chance or Sleepy11 again then.
Oldbill Thanks for giving the link again
The Kickstart program encourages diversity of vehicles, but also seeks to increase the range of competitors who have the opportunity to enjoy Transmission Direct Enduro racing. To reflect this aim, Delaware Speedway will also be offering a $500 bonus to any female driver who is able to WIN a Transmission Direct Enduro.
OK it is bonus. It looks like they want to get more females in.
Also noticed this
The new Kickstart program hopes to increase the diversity of vehicles in the field by paying a $100 bonus to the top finishing non-GM racing vehicle (ie. Dodge, Ford, Toyota, Volvo etc.)
GM drivers should be up in arms over this right? Why are they not getting extra cash to run in the sames series? they are all racing the same race right?
Drivers who often find themselves finishing outside the money beyond 40th position also have reason to celebrate the Kickstart program. At the beginning of each event there will be a random position drawn outside the top 40. The position will be sealed in an envelope and revealed in victory lane at the completion of the race. That position will be paid a $100 bonus.
Why should a driver that finishes out side the 40th position get a chance at 100.00 Bonus. Don't drivers that win or finish in the top 10 work harder?
See there is so many things people could complain about this whole release but PC wanted to single out the women thing like he did in another post.
I guess it was ok for Cayuga to pay Nascar drivers more money to compete in a Cascar race. Never heard anyone complaining about that. Why should they get all this bonus money to race in the same race as cascar drivers.
So please don't tell me this was not a female attack from PC as there was many other things that could have been commented on. I'm not telling you have to believe it is right as it is your own opinion and I can bet you they did run it through the legal department.
For a person that says he loves racing so much why is he trying to hurt the Race Track? Makes no sense to me but here is his words in the first message
If Delaware refuses to pay up the next step would to be to log a complaint with the Ontario Human Rights Commission who will provide you with a lawyer for free . The track on the other hand will have to lawyer up at their own expense , 10K minimum to start out with i would guess .
