Inter Track Rules Open Competitor Consultation (All Speedways)

In a recent track competitor survey, results turned up that in our Late Model division, 75% of drivers were interested in traveling to other speedways occasionally and 82% of our super stocks were interested in traveling.

With such a high percentage of Delaware drivers willing to travel if rules between speedways were closer together, I can only imagine that there are other drivers at other speedways who are also interested in trying their hand at Delaware Speedway (among other tracks) occasionally throughout the season.  Such inter-track cooperation would have obvious benefits for everyone, especially in terms of special events.

As part of a follow up to this survey, I am opening up a general consultation not only with our competitors, but competitors at other speedways.  The feedback I receive will be included in a report and used in the future to increase inter-track competition.  The brainwave for opening up this "can of worms" came recently when I began live-tweeting the drivers meeting and began receiving feedback from competitors at other tracks and even other speedways.

Admittedly, I am not a tech person - - the total sum of my tech experience does not extend past the Bone Stock Chaos Cars.  In general, I work in PR.  As such, my goal is to simply gather the information, put it together into a package, and place that information in the hands of qualified professionals who will be able to make use of it.
