I was just thinking why nobody likes a ruler package that's not riddled with loop holes 🙂
I was just thinking why nobody likes a ruler package that's not riddled with loop holes 🙂
When you accept your new position at Delaware and impliment these I am sure you will hear then. LOL
Well I'm glad you feel I could provide such a service to Delaware Speedway, however I seriously doubt I would be offered a position within the esteemed ranks of the Delaware Management.
Getting back to the point I was making, if you come to the table with a sensible and ECONOMICALLY sound rules package you have provided the foundation for a division that would entice growth.
Super cars, and unlimited crates obviously failed miserably. Sum up what we had last year! think about and you will understand what I mean. How can a track attract more teams if they allow such obviously blatant circumvention of what was a at least reasonable rules package.
Lets just have a field of 5 or 6 cars that could be top contenders and see what growth that promotes. I'm thinking that already happened.
We are definitely in a decline in the Motor Sports world and the whole thing has been affected from the top NASCAR teams all the way down to the Saturday night Mini stocks.
I would like to see at least 20 cars in the field, and I think properly managed it is doable. If you think about it, the thunder car, super stock style of car is probably the most popular style of "Race Car" out there, and the most used engine is the 602. So the question remains why would you move away from that? I'm not trying to piss in anybodies chips but was last year a better year than the season before?
I threw the LAMOT rules out there to prove a point, cap the costs where ever you can be it engines, brakes, shocks, springs, what-ever. Keep it cheap and simple as you reasonably can, you might just attract a few other teams to try and compete with the local talent.
It seems everywhere that allowed messing with the crates either the 604 or the 602 felt the pinch more than others. Just my 2 cents worth
