i have been paying attention to the heat lineups a little more than usual because it seems to be a little different compared to what i expect to see. how exactly are these lineups calculated? i must be missing something and i just don't know what it is.
i will have to do some math and check on this as the lineup changes from the marker board to pit road and yet doesnt always appear to be correct. i had hear somewhere that points postion is now also being calculated into the lineup perhaps john could confirm that the procedure in the link is indeed correct?

That link is the correct handicapping system (it's also accessibe by the menu system on Delaware Speedway.com). That paper was prepared by Ron & I to show racers the new handicapping system. A simplified version was also posted to the program early in the season.
To the best of my knowledge, the handicapping system is currently operating correctly. If you believe this is not the case, feel free to get in touch with myself or Ron and we can walk you through it and see if something's up.
