it was a exciting race considering the low car count..it was an exciting finish.. it ranked right up there with last years canadian tire finish with DJ kennigton and donny thompson going at it..
On about lap lap 40 Gresel did a great job saving it when Kennedy was leading and Gresel was squeezd down when he was passing for the lead..they both held on and slipped back into poistion 5 and 6...I guess kennedy did not give him the lane just like gresel did not give urlin the lane at the finish..it was Good hard racing.. AS a fan thats what I want to see..!!

To posters who think this race was a bore I have to disagree as this race had everything & sure car count low but then car counts are down all over as posted from other posts .This race had lead changes and many for a 200 lap race and lead changes were

It even had some drama when Jay Christie pulled a Kevin Harvick and tried to punch Matt Robblee after an accident on the backstretch by standing in front of Robblees car after he came back around after accident .Whether it was Robblees fault or not not a smart move by Christie anybody ever told anybody is payout money for Christie whether it is $300.00 or $3000.00 or more is it worth trying to hurt yourself or even other driver (Robblee) in this case I donot think so as this could have been an ugly incident for sure. This race had as said everything from race changes to drama & to the last lap try by J.Urlin to pass the winner A. Gresel.Will there be changes for this race in the coming years anything is possible I would suggest go to a night race instead of afternoon & make it a Sunday night race with a rain date for the Monday afternoon if it stays the way it is if not go to the Friday & Saturday night format .I would like to see the Great Canadian Race stay and with co-operation from everybody you could see a great race & think this is the first time in a long time that this race had less than 20 cars & hope in future to see the big fields of LM again .So give the track some slack and let them put on great shows they bring to local racefans & racefans who come to Delaware one of the best short racetracks in Canada .
