I'll find out on Tuesday as soon as it's up on the hoist.  My guesses are, Inner CV joint on the passenger side rear, or the actual axle itself.

As for the FI system, I use the Autronic SMC, it's been on the car for 7 years and over 150000 Km.

www.autronic.com.au unfortunately their web site isn't the greatest, but it's been the most reliable FI system.  Idles like OEM, controlls everything including fans.

An excellent resource to do research on the Autronic stuff is www.mrm-racing.com

Ask any and all questions and I can help.

So I got the pictures of the axle break, it was on just inside the boot of the inner CV joint on the driver side.  Just like we spoke about that night.  The break looks like it was machined off.  It was as close to a perfect shear as you can get.  The new ones have been ordered and are on their way to Sarnia to the Fenwick Subaru dealership.

With any luck, I'll have my car back this weekend, ready to do battle at the CASC-OR regional championships next week in Picton.
