Well, I hate to say this, but there are only 4 Friday nights of racing left here at Delaware for 2011. Sure would be nice if we packed the place full wouldn't it? I'm hoping a lot of guys that haven't raced there on a regular basis, this year ,for whatever reason, can find their way back for the remaining nights. I'm partial to the Late Models, so I miss the fuller fields. I miss Jesse & Scott Lindsay running for the championship. I really like all the new talent out there, but it sure would have be nice to see all the new talent go up against the veterans. I love watching Jay Doerr run. He is very fast when he is there. I wish Matt Robblee could have better luck. I miss Urlin and his excitement. Verhooven is strong. Got to admit, Delaware has the top cars and toughest competition, bar none. From what I've read on these boards, there doesnt seem to be any track escaping wrath this year. I miss seeing visiting competitiors showing up at the track unexpectedly. Still a good show and I wouldn't miss a Friday night. Most of the divisions are good, good racing. So lets pack the place for the remaining shows and show our support. After 60 years, it's still a great place to race and watch races. Look at the drivers that have gone on to different divisions from Delaware..
We haven't managed a full-time season because of a combination of money problems and lack of a full-time pit crew. Hoping to solve both of those problems over the winter and run all the races next season. Hoping to make one or two of the remaining races, fingers crossed.

I've showed up there in my street stock days with just me and my g/f, and she'd go up top after practice lol this year i've shown up with just my spotter.

lol i know, i know, i appreciate the help that I get, just saying there are nights when nobody is available, extra crew is nice but I wouldn't stay home without it.
