Really nice job SHADOW!!! I like the fact you can put a face to the driver and its not just a shot of the car.. Are you actually procducing sets of these for sale you mean???

Nope, not for sale. That wouldn't be right IMO. These are free to the community in general. I only hope I'm not stepping an any toes by doing this.

And yeah...I tend to prefer shots of the driver instead of the car.

So listen, I'm looking for some feedback. Just wondering if anyone's actually done anything with any of these.

I just want to know if they're working and if they're turning out or printing out well. They aren't a uniform size, although in the future they will be. (That's just me figuring out my cam) Some, especially the SS and some of the LM guys, aren't going to blow up to 8x10 very well. (Most of the truck ones will do quite nicely in 8x10)

I've come to realize that at this stage of the season, I may as well consider this a test run for next year. I don't think I'm going to get around to everyone. And this Fri I'm going to be focusing on the LM guys, just because of their big show coming up and the fact that it does include an autograph session.

Pritiko, Box, Thompson, Jacobs, Verhoeven (if youre there), Watson (ditto) , and Cox can probably expect me to pop up at some point before the show on Friday. Like a redo of Doerr, Lindsay and Griesel too if I can swing it.

One way to help in your quest is to take pictures in high resolution (TIFF or RAW) format. Most digital camera's that are less than 2 years old can do so if they are SLR's. Once you begin to do so, you can then resize and crop your pictures to a 'uniform size' - without losing significant resolution (pixel blocks) when increased in size.

With these high res options, you can blow them up to whatever pixel size you wish such as 4 x 6 or 8 x 10 and likely have a very good picture. The one drawback to such a format is colour ink usage - it explodes ! Consumption of colour ink cartridges will be noticeable. Of course, there's a reason for that....

Most "hero' cards are 4 x 6 and should be manageable for those that have colour printers with 'photo' slots and save cartridge costs when compared to 8 x 10. A TIFF or RAW format image is often 4 to 7 MB in size (depending on the quality of technology in the camera) - so I hope you have a decent size memory card! 20 drivers could easily fill a 2 GB SD card. The good news is that SD cards (high speed transfer models) are becoming VERY cheap.
