My first time at Delaware was when I was 7 years old (1980). These kinds of cars were what made me love racing, thanks gor the uplink.

I believe the 16 was originally a Baker car. My family bought it and drove it painted as is for a short period of time.

Yeah that was Earl. He came out of retirement in 82 to take over duties on the Ron Box 68, then in 1983 it was a new team with the 29. So these pics would be from 1983. Not sure how much success they had with the 29 car.

The 29 car was owned by Gary Cunningham, whose son Travis now races in the Sprint Car division at Ohsweken Speedway.  Unfortunately, Gary passed away last fall.

OH YA, wall and peaches hard racing in late 70's ,,, the crew guys for peaches lived next door IAN RICHIE, peaches car parked every fri after the race, as a kid I would then help , that was oh so long ago , kamoka machine shop .
