i dont condone it but it has happened for years...flying thru the pits and shooting stone all over is the worst of all with me, there is no protection for crews , officials or fans from that...when flamboro only had the one pit entrance/exit i saw the top latemodel driver at flamboro do a donut in the infield at the edge of the track shooting dirt and stones onto the track and into the pit stands trying to get a caution...how no one in the stands wasnt hurt and how the drivers racing could see from the dust i have no idea...complete indiotic brain fart he had...the stands were packed back then...
I apologize for Friday to our fans and our drivers for what ever happened happened...
Things get hot and people get ugly or stupid !!!
Today is a new day and all we can do is worry about today not yesterday.
Yes we have to keep professional in our ways....for our sponsors and our fans.
All I can say is keep up the hard work that you and your teams do for our sport and track to keep it alive......
See you Friday in the fast lane....................
why is it that everyone only see's the one mistake that a silverthorn made but noone saw the mistake that the 60 car made before silverthorn did what he did?
it was actually 2 mistakes by silverthorn...the first one was when he turned down on the 60 causing contact....that could be considered a racing incident and should have been left at that but silverthorn isn't known to be a reasonable person so he waited for 60 to come around and turned 60 up into the fence...just saying
Slowly walks away,shaking head......just saying!!
I hope the track officials pay particular attention to this shot! I was at Flamboro last night nite and it seemed everybody knew about the incident. A certain team thought actions like this are called for and warranted. And this was the exact type of incident they were banned from competition for from Flamboro and Varney. I don't want people to get the wrong idea here, I'm not about impeding anybody from coming out and having a good time. However at some point a line has to drawn some where. How many tracks can a team go to create havock and destroy personal property and still be accepted?
Nascar seems to think its part of the game,so iam sure Delaware will to.Stop whining!!!!!!
Let me see if I get this right.
Friday Night there were 2 incidents on the track that had two teams (3, 97) upset and black flags thrown at them.
Common denominator in both case was the 60 car, could it be that the 60 car is the issue.
Just a question from an Alternate Reality.
