My problem with this is, he was told to behave before the race, it was only a heat race and the first lap at that, he has more than enough years of experience to know better, and last of all....he has done that kind of thing every year for the last 30 years. Sorry but i would have put him on the trailer to show the guys and the fans that it won't be tolerated.

I just watched the video on the Delaware website, and it looks like a racing deal.  Doug would not wreck someone on purpose.  With Doug's experience I feel he deserves the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Wow according to the GRR site Delisle is only going to run a limited schedule at Delaware, huge loss for the track. These wrecks will take their toll and more quality teams will start looking elsewhere. I hope everyone learns from this.

WOW that really sucks!! he is my favorite in that class! the wreck probably made up his decision but I wonder if the price of gas had anything to contribute to the decision? these prices make it hard for the guys that haul down the road!! we need to run good every night or we can`t afford to come up the next week!!

i would consider that a racin deal near the end of the race not on the opening green flag thats just flat out no respect for your fellow driver!
