Hello Everyone,

One of the big suggestions that came out of the fan forum this past week was that we needed to bring the speedway to people in London and area, rather than expecting them to come to us.  In keeping with suggestions we are going to give something a try.

When: This Thursday, June 6 at 5:30 pm (meeting first, getting started at 6pm)

Starting Location:  We will meet at the A&P / Metro Plaza in Byron, Google map to the location: http://goo.gl/maps/nVgbL

What: For those of us on foot, we will be going door to door dropping off schedules in London in the areas closest to the track (the Byron area).  We will be dropping off schedule pamphlets and $5-off coupons valid for any weekly racing event until the end of June.

For those with race cars on open trailers, race cars are natural people magnets.  We will be asking you to park somewhere where you will be seen.  If our experience is any indicator, if you are in the right place people will come to you.  Additional instructions will be given at the meeting.  Bring a digital camera if you have one.

This is grass roots promotion at its most basic.  This will be a bit of a test this first run.  We hope to see you out to help out the home track.  If you are able to help out drop me an e-mail message so I know to expect you and can plan ahead.
