I assume your talking about the guy in the pits in the back of a truck. Looks to me like hes clapping because his truck made it threw the wreck. i dont believe any disrespect was intended.

although Jay, there is that lunatic fringe in the crowds who clap for wrecks. Obviously, they've never had to pay to fix a wrecked race car.

OK maybe I was haisty, but if you ever had the the agony of racing at Flamboro for a season and had to repair your car every week you'd understand what I'm talking about. You just wanna strangle everybody who cheers for wrecks
