I have a very special friend that I watch the 500 with.  That special person is my daughter. She was born on Feb 17th 2008.  She was born approx half hour before the end of the race. So her first moments in life were with me and her mother watching the end of the 500 in my arms.  Every year from that that day on will be a very special day to watch the big race with her.

That is a good story. Congrats. Couple questions though. Home birth or did you order the TV for the delivery room in advance ???

That is a great story!  My daughter was born on my birthday...so we will always have that day for our special bonding, but right now the enitire day belongs to her.  And she loves racing...she's always helping me on the truck and she's only seven.  We're just getting ready now to watch practice on Speed channel.
