LONDON, Ont. - London, Ont., police and the Bank of Montreal are trying to track down 80 completed BMO MasterCard applications that were stolen from a parked vehicle in a mall.
The applications were filled out last month during the Canadian Figure Skating Championships, a CPT Racing Experience event and at a Bank of Montreal kiosk.
Police say the applications, along with personal property, were stolen from a vehicle on Jan. 18.
People who completed the applications and have not received their cards are asked to contact the Bank of Montreal.
London police want to hear from anyone with information about the theft.
Its nice to know that peoples personal info has been laying around in someones car !!!! And at a mall to boot !!!!
Prolly laying on the front seat with everyones SIN #'s.
I also found it strange that the theft occurred Jan 18 and this is the first report I have seen on it. You'd think they would want to get the word out so those who did make an application could do what they needed to do....
I've always wondered why people would apply for a credit card at a show or any other place than the place of business that issues it ??? ??? I have even seen thes application booths at bars. Buyer beware.
one bank use to have a booth setup at hamilton bulldog games and if you filled out an application you got a free bulldogs t shirt.
