It's a neat race, but I don't get this Daytona 500 of short track racing stuff.....Speedfest today has a lot more big names, heck, the snowball LAST CHANCE RACE had bigger names in it, good race, but biggest short track race of the year? come on.
Did anyone else find it ironic that Norris McDonald would publicly criticize the broadcast of an event while totally missing a key accomplishment of the person his article is focused on? DJ did win a Delaware Speedway track championship.
Maybe Mr. McDonald dosen't consider track championships real championships. Well maybe Mr. McDonald isn't a real motorsports writer.
His bio at the top of his article says he covers all forms of racing from F1 to local dirt tracks. I'm just wondering how many Friday and Saturday nights were spent at local tracks last year.
Leaves me scratching my head,,,,can't journalists do their homework?
