It's safe to say most of us have been around the track a long time, and have seen our share of Fist-a-cuffs. Usually, it's a 1V1 fight, and it's in the pits.... followed by no one getting hurt. Maybe some hurt egos, and that's about it. The last few Enduro/Bone Stock runs have had some of the worst sportsmanship I've seen in a while. Let me expand...
There's nothing wrong with pointing a finger, roughing up a guys' ride, or getting into a little "What for" attitude on the track. But the way you guys' been doing it, makes ALL look like retarded Hillbilly's. Some of you are my friends, and most of you I respect simply for making an effort to be on the track. It takes a truckload of work to get these cars prepared, and if you want to wreck it on someone else's car... that's your choice. I can say most people in the stands were excited to see a little scuffle take place, but almost everyone up there thought it was a CHICKEN-POOP move to punch a guy strapped in a car. You want to go toe to toe, do it with a guy standing up, with helmets off. Anyone ever did that to me, or my kid....
Bottom line, man-up, and stop acting like retards. This isn't gangland rules, it's racing. Even rum runners, crooks and thieves have higher standards than that.
This is just my own opinion, and no affiliation with anyone else at the track.
