Does anyone remember a while ago when I started up that thread saying there were way too many black flags and it started a little argument. Well I am back. In my opinion Delaware needs to ease up on the black flags. There are multiple every week on a regular basis now. Shipway was one of my favourite drivers at Delaware... and now he is gone because Delaware does not think twice about penalizing someone. I can name three BS calls in recent weeks.
1. Waving the black flag and checkered flag together at the winner for a CLASSIC RACING BUMP AND RUN.
2. Robblee was black flagged on Friday for contact that was really no ones fault.
3. As you know by this point I am obviously going to bring up the black flag on Shipway. Enough said about that.
Delaware is working on getting their car counts up to where they used to be. But they simply can't bring people in fast enough to replace the people they piss off. There is my input. Feel free to put yours in.
Well we'd certainly hate to see the 88 car gone. The mod division wouldn't be the same. And I mean that. 1 and 3 may win more, but at least when the 88 does it, he does it with flair!
I really hope that even more positive strides can be made with the MRA next year and down the road. From what I can tell, it was an excellent first year.
The mod division almost croaked because of some bad decisions, then you guys literally got left holding the bag and trying to keep it afloat yourselves. It would have been easy to write the mods off but you guys came up HUGE. I hope the majority of the MRA visitors at least had a good time while they were down this past weekend.
Its only sad to see one of the MRA "pioneers" have to think about quitting. Friday nights would also be kinda wierd without a Shipway to be found. Thats a pretty long-standing name here at Delaware.

Yes it has been an eventful week. And no that is not a mistake ( the 88 mod for sale with everything)!!!
It is unfortunate, for everyone, i hate to think that my brother will not be piloting his car around the track this week, but it is very true. I have been talking with both my grandpa and brother, not an easy decision for anyone. Not solely caused by one event but a series of events, Shippy #88 wont be back this week.
