The easiest thing would have been 305 ci limit with a chip!! what you save on motors will easily buy you a stutter box. lots of 6's could be competitive with a 305!! 😮

Ahem?? I am, I got 24.5's from a 4 banger pee-pot, no camber, most of the weight, stock EVERYTHING. The Honda cost me 800 bucks to build. I spent another 125 this year on some sheet metal, brake pads, a couple tougher springs, and a proper batt box.

I remember this breakout rule being brought up many times before and its the same thing as before, people who don't win crying about it.  With every sport there are basic principles, you get out of it what you put in it, and some people are just better than others.  Things we all need to live with.  This rule is terrible, just one more thing that pisses me off.  Bad decissions and adding costly rules is partly why I have decided not to race this year.

Sucks for you. I'd rather race then watch from the stands anyday, so have fun with that.
