The cage will be mounted to 1-1/2 X 3 X 1/8" wall Rectangle tubing. The sleeving was all done with .120 wall 1-1/2" as this particular cage is actually made with .120 wall. She is a bit heavy but it will be stiff for sure. We cut the cage with a bigass pipe cutter so it actually gives you a decent prep for welding. If you tack your sleeve before joining you end up with a nice open root with the sleeve as a backing plate. This gives you full penetration on your butt joint. This will be as strong as the original tubing was. If done correctly there is no need to worry about it being any less safe than any other joint on the cage

Stock rocker rail where we are going to reinforce for cage mount and side impact
Reinforcement rail in place along rocker rail welded to the floor and the rocker rail box section
Drivers side rail ready to weld in
This section where it is doubled up will be where the vertical bar of the cage will be attached to
This plate is welded to the the rear strut tower and a brace to the halo joint of the cage will go here
The cage will be going in next

i got some rims offa 96 sunfire. they shud fit... make an offer, also if u need any other parts let me know the cars just gonna go to scrap after i pull the cage as it has a blown engine now.
