Hey Shadow, great report. I sat in turn 4 for the first time this year, and it proved to be worth the lack of bleachers. Lots of action at that end of the track. From my point of view, it looked like the 88 turned a little extra to the right as the 56 tried to squeak by on the outside.
im not one to cause arguments but i have to argee with luvthetrucks. the 88 blatenly took out the 56. in my opinion that is poor sportsmenship(a john showd saturdays race in th camp ground tire goes flat they goin to turn 3 88 looks up then you see the wheel turn right) how bout the 01? 2laps down then back to 3rd way to go guys
Well, I was right behind the 88 and 56, and I can say 2 things FOR SURE-- the 88 had something break, and the 56 probably should have gone low. Any more than that will have to come from those two guys. What happened to Sid? Timing chain again? Either way, it sucks.
Not sure yet on my truck..
It is the motor I can tell you that, sounds like the chain.
On the 88 deal for sure it looks like that,, but Paul broke a lower control arm going down the back stretch turning into the turn and it snapped in half.
the spindle went up pulling Paul straight into the wall.
If that was me behind him I would of dropped down seeing sparks thinking he was going to brake something ,not to try passing him up high.
I don't think it was meant to be as they are Buddy's
Just glad they are both OK......Sid
I agree with most of what you said there spindoctor, the rookie Chris Raabe was taking Ron Sheridan to school in the first 50, I was very surprised that Raabe held him off for so long... I think some guys were a little bit too anxious at the start of the races because they wrecked both times, in turn 1 on the first lap. But by the time the 2nd 50 lapper was over there were only 12 cars left on the track out of 26, thats over half the field!!! We won't be at Flamboro next week because the damage is severe from the 3 car wreck on the frontchute.
Yes that wreck was do to a piece of debri that was on the track for a lap That nobody seen But us who where sitting in turn 4 1 car ran over it blew a tire as we could here it then the wreck happend Too bad nobody seen it as it was a BIG piece

Yes from about 30 of us that sit at the far end of turn 4 That's the way we seen it too. 88 going not to bad with the control arm broke threw 3&4 then turned hardly into showler as we could see the 88 turn right Looked like a take out to us as we booed Very Bad move But leave it up to the Sid crew to do something like that With all there ruff driving this year
