. (He would never of made a lap with his 1 tire the way it was.
But he did when they released him after checkers.
Was told the official excuse was he had an unsafe vehicle.
If so why was the truck not sent to the pits at the end of pit road like every other car thats be told that. Why did they not approach the truck and tell him what was going on?????
Why did they not allow thre truck to return to the pits for further repairs???
Nope, just stood infront and held the truck until it was over.Add it to what the 33 truck did and no wonder people are hearing the black helicopters.
What did the #33 truck do? other then come in the pits a little fast...and we were warned right away by the officials if it happens again they will park us!!

I dont think he really did anything. His misfortune is being in a spot that made it look from the grandstands like collusion against the 56.
IMO, after thinking about it, I don't think he could have planned pulling up in front of Showler on the backstretch that way. He wouldn't likely have had view of them when he came off pit road. They were on him on the backstretch really fast....Sid would have to seen the pack coming up on him, been able to identify which car was his and which was Showler (in the dark), then making the decision to block, all in about the 3 seconds it took the pack to round turn 2 and get halfway up the straight to where Sid was.
Anything is possible, but it just seems unlikely to me.
Now on lap 22, the crowd is on their feet, because limping down the frontstretch is the 56 truck, front end nothing but a bare engine block between 2 tires, desperately trying to avoid a DNF. If he can make it out, based on the number of trucks out of the race already, he could take the points title. But wait....the dude with the stop sign at the end of pit road is not.frigging.letting.him.go. Well fine, maybe its a speeding penalty. Now its lap 23, and they're still not letting him go (thought speeding was a 1 lap penalty), now lap 24 and he's still sitting there. Fothergill is nowhere in sight.
herd on that radio it was speeding in the pits, however should he not have been awarded a lap for driving down pit road prior to being stopped? In weeks past when teams have had issues all that was required was for the team to push the vehicle down pit road to be awarded points??
Must have been held for something other than speeding.
They only held the 33 for 1/2 a lap when it was penalized for speeding in the pits earlier.
Shadow, I don't think your post about McGlynn was a fair analysis. In second 50 lapper he lead for 13 or 14 laps before he was passed and then following the leader Robblee into turn 3, Robblee brakes checks McGlynn a couple of times while the announcer was saying that the Robblee was loose and blamed McGlynn for allowing the rest of the field to catch up. The was alot more wrecking out there that did not involve McGlynn which was obvious with the number of cars retiring from the race. The car (Raabe) in the first 50 lapper that you said was toast after being crunch between McGlynn and the wall was not put into the wall by McGlynn as the two cars were locked together leaving neither with any control over which way the went all the way down the front straight and only ran into the wall when turn 1 came up and they were still locked together going straight. The time that McGynn spun a car (17 I think)exiting turn 2 he was sent to the back as he should have been, the rest of it was racing and if it were not for drivers like those who finished up front that series would not be what it is.
I agree with most of what you said there spindoctor, the rookie Chris Raabe was taking Ron Sheridan to school in the first 50, I was very surprised that Raabe held him off for so long... I think some guys were a little bit too anxious at the start of the races because they wrecked both times, in turn 1 on the first lap. But by the time the 2nd 50 lapper was over there were only 12 cars left on the track out of 26, thats over half the field!!! We won't be at Flamboro next week because the damage is severe from the 3 car wreck on the frontchute.
