Depends on whether Holland is a wreckfest or not, really...It's only 160 miles from Holland Speedway to Delaware, so it's not an impossible drive by any stretch of the imagination...

You are right this could actually happen 20 Second cars inwith 18.7 Second cars.This will depend on what the car count is if only 38 show up ( Hearing up the 47 cars possible ) all 38 would start.Remember the top 14 of each 75 Lap race qualify. Sounds like Delaware cars go first so car positions Odd 1-27 (which is inside). Visiting cars 2nd 75 Lap race get even positions 2-28 (which is outside ). Remaining field through Provisial & time trials.Actually Time trials mean nothing in the scheme of things
especially when you have Delaware cars in one heat race & visiting cars in the other.Time trials only come into effect for 75 lap races only.How they figure to split up races (75 Lap ) if there is a big entry will be interesting (44-47 cars ) as Delaware cars for points figures maybe 20 to 22 max which would leave 22-25 for visiting cars.The rules have been set for this year but next year maybe they should look at doing the Late Model Champion to be crowned on another date like the Friday before the Labour Day weekend.This way you would not have to have two seperate races ( Delaware cars in one & Visitors in another ).Then the time trials would mean something aproper set up Odd time trial positon in one and even time trial position in the other one.This should be an intersting but I can see as DB1 said a lot of cautions as the way it is set up there is a way you can have slow cars in with the fast ones.Hope it does not happen but you never no.

I would have to disagree Delaware drivers sure they may know the track better but they have been rough driving there all year. Does not matter which group you will see a caution -fest as you put it in either 75 lap race.Still think Delaware should look at changing date for LM Champion race.This way as I put it Time trials mean something Then you would have proper 75 Lap Heats or even better go back to old day Time trial and where you time trial you start the race 300 laps no heats.
I'd like to see Delaware go into September ala Flamboro, but who knows for next season....
