But what im saying is that will guys like Robblee, Sheridan, Hooker, sacrifice a good run in the 100 lap points race to keep their nose clean...
Well, if you're talking about those 3, no. (Kennedy either) I actually don't think they'd play it any differently than they normally would. All the top guys are stout runners and not prone to much stupidity even when there's lots on the line.
It'd be everyone else that I'd be worried about.
But listen, there's guys competeing for NASCAR points in both Michigan and New York. Is it not conceivable that some of them might make the haul?
Nascar points can only be earned in your home province/state so nobody from outside of Ontario will race the 300 for Nascar points. Â So that only leaves Barrie cars that could earn Nascar points at the 300. Â Unlikely that any Barrie cars would travel to Delaware as they are Limited Late Models, running the 602 crate with a 2 bbl, 5 inch ride height, stock style front ends(ie steering box, a frames and big springs) as Glenn said a knife to a gun fight. Â Also the Nascar Ontario money only rewards the top three drivers, with Delawares great 23 plus car counts this year the Barrie guys don't have a chance at a top 5 placing let alone a top 3 money spot. Â The Nascar points are awarded as two points per car to a maximum of 46 (23 car field) plus 5 bounus points for a win. Â So if you have 23 cars start the winner takes home 51 Nascar points. Â At Barrie this year the largest car count has been 20 with an average of 17. Â So the winner on a night with 17 cars at Barrie can only earn 39 points that is 12 less points than a Delaware winner gets. Â This is why the Barrie cars don't have a chance at the top 3 money. Â Currently Robblee has a 40 point per race average over the 15 features with Sheridan at 39.93 and Urlin at 31.6. Â Currently the National standings have Marty Ward in 6th place with an average of 40.06 and Lee Falk in 7th with 38.22, so if Robblee and Sheridan can maintain there current race average they should finish somewhere between 6th and 9th in the National Standings. Â Steven Matthews average is 29.06 while Barrie points leader Gord Shepard has a 29.44 average. Hope this helps with all the questions about Nascar points.

Geeze I thought I was the numbers guy in the family :):):):)
Either way it goes, we still have a couple wreck fests left before the big show.. Hard to tell who will actually be there in the end if the next couple of races are anything like any of the Late Model races at Delaware this year..
FYI.. after last weeks disappointing finish the 5 car was again pretty much unfixable in time for Fridays show...so..after some negotiating with both sponsors Kyle will be running the KFC car this weekend and if there is a God and the weapons decide to behave this Friday, he may stay in that car for the 300.

It's funny you say that because I saw the Robblee's hauler going through Toronto on Tuesday... I wondered were they were headed? Don't know if they had the late models or the LOSC cars in their... i doubt that they had the LOSC cars in their as their next races are Delaware, and Flambee
