Dont the Barrie late models run the 602 crates?
I agree Shadow thats alot on the line for one day of racing. Should be interesting however they work it.
Isn't it wierd to have a complete season almost in the books and never see a late model heat race?
Should be a great weekend.

Will they need a Consi race though?    I mean it would be awesome to see so many cars that everyone has to race there way into the 200 lap Race.... but wasn't there only like 30-32 cars last year?

That depends on how many qualify through each "heat". If you only take the top 10 or 12 and make everyone else race in thru the consi, then it makes sense.

I heard the same thing the Voice did actually. Only question that arises for me is if the twin Delaware features are also their qualifier for the 200, how do they decide who makes the show? Total points for the twin races?

IMO, the Delaware guys have too much riding on the outcome of those twin 25s, and I don't beleive its actually fair to them to have to race for so much on the line - and then have that count as their qualifier too. Besides, the APC LM champoinship should have its own main event night, and not be relegated to what's essentially the undercard of a bigger event.

Just my opinion, but it'll still be a hell of a show.

It's my understanding that only the twin 25's for the Delaware LMs will be the only races that count for year-end points.  If I understood your question correctly, that should help.

I would think it would be better for all involved if the points was out of the way before the APC 300 day, specialy if there expecting to get more cars then they plan to start.

That way you can just split it into say... Twin-35 lap Qualifiers. & a 30 lap LCQ race.... or something like that.

and drop the fact that the Delaware guys have to be worried about points and also the fact they need to make the 200 lap race.  and then wound't have to worry about haveing a "invader" race..... as everyone would just be the same.

Understood, what I meant though is that here's a pair of races that will decide the entire year's point totals for Delaware/NASCAR...but they can't race TOO hard, because they have a big show to worry about qualifying for too.

Now, these qualms I have about the Delaware guys and the invaders qualifying thru seperate heats really don't come into play unless the invaders outnumber the Delaware guys...then it would be hugely unfair to qualify accordiing to what track they race at normally. As it stands though, its advantage to the invaders. If only 10 extra guys show up, they're all in.

The Barrie Limited Late Models aren't even close to the Delaware and Flamboro Late Models - can't really see many of those guys making the trip.  Knife to a gun fight fits.

I think with Barrie running our rules package and Flam being so close not to mention the incredible number of cars in late model races this year we will have atleast 15 more cars showing up from other tracks to go along with our usual 20 - 25 cars so thats 40 and i think the cut off is around 33 or 34 so the 2 delaware 25s the 25 for invaders and the 25 consi will be a great format
