Shadowrace  that was ARCA Trucks not cars that was a Delaware

ehhh...thanks for clearing that up.

I was busy during driver introes, and didn't really get any names or anything. And I spent laps 3 to 53 waiting in line for my supper. (I gotta start bringing my own again)

The yellow 31 "truck" won. The 7 truck ended up a couple laps down and made a pretty good show of trying to get his laps back. Quite a few cautions towards the end. Other than that...looked like a good show.

Mobile 1 Re reply #4 I was actually referring to the results of both Delaware & Special Series. Today is Sunday Aug 5th  two days after the races. No results and the only story on the Delaware site is the story from the ARCA site.I know this is a long weekend but previous management used to have stories and results posted that night.I know you will say well this is new
management yes I know but your racing season is almost done and nothing from what I have seen to improve. You wonder why in some cases race fans ,sponcers ,etc. are a liitle tired of this problem and leave this track and go somewhere to do other things. Remember your fans are the main part of your business and I hate to say forgeting to keep the fans updated with results and stories in quick fashion may come to harm you in the long run

By that logic, I take it places like Sauble, Varney, Peterboro and Mosport are sponsorless? They do much, much less to their websites (ie. results only, horrible formats, outdated news) than Delaware and other places. I don't think there's a track with a perfect website, but I doubt it's as bad as you make it out to be....Then again, I think you're just scratching the surface about other things there, so I'll leave it at that...

Jeez guys. They've been pretty good with keeping the website up to date. Maybe it doesn't come on till next day, but its still not too shabby.

BTW, the fellow that does the weekly write up and handles the website had his brother's wedding to go to, so relax, willyas? It'll be up. And the reason it was up so quickly last year was because the guy had nowhere near the reponsibilites he does now.

Besides...its not like the local scene was waiting with bated breath to see how the ARCA truck race turned out.

Sheesh.

Anyone else wanna spout off about stuff without first understanding how things actually work?

Shadowrace I am not spouting off about stuff as you would put it. I am giving my opinion of the problem in racing ( Media) You are saying the ARCA race results are not important give your head a shake as it was a well known race series in town was it not if you donot think so well I do not know where you are coming from as a lot of true race fans follow the racing scene very close. As for the local races ( Truck challenge ) it has been 2 days as i said and no info remember the London Free Press is still in town and it is not hard to e-mail results to them. The paper still works 24 hrs. aday 7 days a week. And by the way privious management used to have results on line that night if not next day .That  was 2 years ago not last year
